Across the ditch... dutch... dtch?

As requested by the bakeoff crew... oh yes, and don't watch it if you're offended by the word "sht".

The Editors

The Editors are two young scientists who work in the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. They started a science blog because, let's face it, they are a bit nerdy, and also enjoy writing. They want other postgrads from the Vet Faculty publish stuff here too- especially if it's good!

Camilla is researching venom genes in the platypus, because it was the most obscure thing she could think of and it's good to talk about at dinner parties.

Kao is working on racehorses, because that way going to the races is 'studying'.

This month's horoscope

Gemini (May 21 - June 14)

Mid autumn will find you in shorter days, longer nights and most likely searching for your damart. Your wild, passionate side may be exercised by the current passage of Mars through Mercury, though you will also experience strange lethargy around 9am daily with a sudden interest in your finger-nails. On the home front, beware all food-stuffs bearing green spots. You will find romance in strange places and should avoid making any snap judgements, especially involving chocolate. Your lucky book bag is recyclable, your lucky coffee is latte, and your lucky animal is the naked mole rat.
