Pearls of postgrad wisdom
Do you have an easy way to format a thesis? A better reference manager than Endnote? A place to order cheap labware? We want to hear from you. Post your top tips here labelled as 'tips' and whatever else you feel is appropriate. Or, if you are trawling away in the dark, murky waters of your PhD ocean (at the risk of pushing a metaphor!) search the 'tips' labels in this site so you too might be able to find some nuggets of light....
The Editors
The Editors are two young scientists who work in the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. They started a science blog because, let's face it, they are a bit nerdy, and also enjoy writing. They want other postgrads from the Vet Faculty publish stuff here too- especially if it's good!
Camilla is researching venom genes in the platypus, because it was the most obscure thing she could think of and it's good to talk about at dinner parties.
Kao is working on racehorses, because that way going to the races is 'studying'.
